During her career, she built HR departments from the ground up both nationally and internationally and at the Corporate level, managed 11 HR professionals in 9 countries. Her experience in direct "line" positions has contributed to her business understanding and business success focus. A graduate of the University of Michigan, School of Business; Executive Human Resources Management program, her passion is organization alignment. She designs HR Business Systems that support the organization’s core values and business strategy, and are focused on delivering results. As an HR Partner, she has worked at the strategic and tactical levels and is known for her ability to quickly assimilate into an organization. Not averse to rolling up her sleeves, she has gained valuable experience: Managing culture shifts with senior executives that need to re-focus their organizations or are entering different markets Developing Survey's to gather key organization information Developing total pay plans Designing performance management programs Designing interview, selection, retention and succession programs.
Gay is a Canadian Citizen, who, having lived outside the country, now resides in Southern Ontario. She is the founder of HR Construct, a Division of The PartnerFirm Inc. Gay is a professional speaker and has had several articles published on topics related to Human Resources, Leadership and Values. She is also a content provider for the EthicsAssurance on-line assessment service.
